Privacy comes first

Lagcheck works without mandatory sign-up or third-party ads. Here is how the app and website handle technical data.

No mandatory account

The app does not require an account, name, email, phone number, or social sign-in to start measurements. Limited technical data may be processed to run tests and maintain the service.

Local storage on iPhone

Your network measurement history stays in your iPhone storage. Measurement data is never sold to third parties.

Technical telemetry and minimization

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for visits, page views, and traffic sources. App Store clicks are counted separately and do not prove an installation. The app may send operational telemetry tied to technical identifiers generated on the device to monitor product stability without requiring registration data.

Website connection test

The home-page test runs in your browser and requests public AWS endpoints to select the lowest-latency region, plus Cloudflare for controlled load. Results remain on your screen and are not sent to or stored by us. Lagcheck does not read, display, or retain your IP address; as with any internet request, the services receive the request IP in order to reply.

No advertising in the current MVP

The current app binary contains no advertising network SDKs or behavioral advertising trackers.

Language preference

When you choose a language, the functional sq_locale cookie saves that manual choice across SignallQ sites for up to one year. You can remove it in your browser site-data settings. It is not used for analytics or advertising.
