What Lagcheck checks for Diablo
Response time
How long packets take to reach and return from the reference region.
Packet-to-packet variation
Variations that can cause stutter and delayed hit registration.
Missing packets
Packets that fail to arrive. Measured in the iPhone app.
Under load
How the route reacts while the network is busy.
How lag shows up in Diablo
- ✕ Potions activate late, evade rubber-bands into hazard zones or monsters freeze and hit at once.
- ✕ High jitter or packet loss can make actions feel inconsistent even when download speed looks fine.
Reference route
Your Wi-Fi or mobile connection and the path through your provider can affect this game. Lagcheck measures a regional reference route, not the private server for your match.
Practical tip: Test on a phone connected to the same home network before joining a match. Compare results near the router and while your network is busy.
Questions about lag in Diablo
Why can Diablo lag on a fast connection?
Potions activate late, evade rubber-bands into hazard zones or monsters freeze and hit at once. Download speed alone does not describe latency, jitter or packet loss.
Does Lagcheck test the exact Diablo match server?
No. The browser uses HTTPS to a regional reference endpoint. The mobile app can measure UDP packet loss on its test route; neither result identifies the private server assigned to your match.
